Mikhailov Gallery opens first showroom in Italy
24 April 2014. The official opening of the showroom took place on 16 April in the centre of Milan, on Via Gesù, opposite the Palazzo Versace.
The distinguished guests of the opening evening, who included the President of the Camera Nazionale della Moda Italiana (National Chamber for Italian Fashion) Mario Boselli, met inside a historic palace owned by the once famous Folk family. The building which houses the showroom is also connected with another famous name: Riccardo Muti, principal conductor of the La Scala opera house, lived there for thirty years.
Orthodox pieces created by the artist Vladimir Mikhailov, already widely renowned throughout the world, were presented to the European public. In addition, visitors to the showroom were able to view the SASONKO jewellery house’s Images of Russian Ballet collection.
